i have pictures of my daughters on my dresser from when they were little, and they bring back bitter sweet memories.

I remember when

You used to play

Out laughing in the sun.

You'd climb and slide

The world wide

In never ending fun.

My little girls,

My little girls,

Where have those days all gone?

So fresh and clean,

My little queens,

They didn't last that long.

-

I miss your smiles

Of pure delight

At every brand new thing.

I miss you wanting

Everything

That every new day brings.

We shared the world,

We shared our love,

Where our hearts were won.

When the days

Were magical,

Out laughing in the sun.
