Knock! Knock!! – No response
Just looking for some space – in your heart.
Some kind words, if you please
This doesn’t cost anything.

I don’t need your land
I don’t need your money
Just the pleasure of your company.
Just a feeling of being near you.

Call me desperate, call me anything
I will keep knocking
Till you open the door.
Till you call me in.

thanx. u r being naughty (and nice). ;-)

Oh, I really like it! The acknowledgment of how needy it sounds but a not caring; just wanting to be let in. Lovely.

Awwww
Very sweet. I love the pic! I received a stuffed Koala from a favorite teacher in third grade. Now, my daughter is in third, and the Koala has been handed down to her.
In reference to your poem, I like the feel of it, the want in it. Not necessarily needy, but just the want. Here, mi casa es su casa. (Okay, not sure about the spelling!!)

Dear Bubbly: There is a famous saying: "One door closes, another opens!" But even here you must discriminate, to choose what's revealing for you - esp. in this 21st Century - as you say in 1 of your other poems. Kentero

KAORI, ON THIS DAY OF APRIL 28, 2008, UR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED. i'll bring the old dutch salt, vinegar chips along with koala. and if u'll permit me, even chocolate ice cream. for i can't see u munching alone, u've to share it with me. promise, promise. ;-)

Mi casa es su casa is Spanish. (I'm half Spanish, but my Spanish-speaking is terrible. My spelling, even worse!) It means My home is your home. It's like welcoming in a visitor and treating them like family.
