Click and a Bang!
These dark days, last longer than they used to.
The black sky,
Consumed all hope.
There’s an empty basin,
To greet the dope,
At the end of the veins, the river Styx.
Drop it, Lock it, hurry, Quick!
I’ve gotten lost, in these clear vials,
I must have walked, thousands of miles.
The death penalty, to the broken trail.
Is apparently, the only thing worth while.
These dry spells have become more frequent,
These feelings of being inadequate.
And that hollow space,
Has never been filled,
And probably never will.
There’s a tunnel,
With something on the other end,
Could this be,
My second chance?
Fate opening.
The answer comes,
With a Click and a Bang!
Mocking, Taunting,
The truth rang.
I must have walked a hundred years,
I guess there’s not point stopping here.
