Poetry

My heart made me do it, but now my mind pays the time.

I Shall Blame My Heart

Like a prisoner I wait and dwell,

Lingering on the boundary of hell.

Pacing along on the slippery edge.

One wrong step, fall off the ledge.

A thousand cries all shouting, spree,

A thousand cries all aiming at me.

My mind aches, it knows the truth.

My soul balances on a metal roof.

Though I can not admit, to the crime,

Because it felt right at the wrong time.

Banished away I mingle in the dark,

Banished away I shall blame my heart.
