Pictures are taken.
My young mind triggers on
Just as it always has from the beginning of my time.
14 years old.
I snap a photo of a leaf sitting on the railroad.
I feel the converse rubber of my shoe heal rub hard against the track.
I take a deep breathe.
Relaxation sets in.
Are you ready?
I think to myself.
I'll jump and take a photo.
I'll twirl and snap a shot.
I'll focus on one small object no bigger than sand.
Success. . .
The beauty of this ,
It captures my thoughts.
When I cannot speak it speaks for me.
My mind explores the possibilities it can go through.
Can I capture the beauty of a rainbow?
Can I portray the destruction of a tornado?
It's ability to say anything you want.
It's ability to generate your mind outside your mind.
No, just think of it.
I bounce down.
The sun heats my arms.
My legs, by now.
The sun's heat.
I'll capture it, indeed.
My polaroid camera spits out the wonder of life.
My way of expression.
My mindset creativity.
I keep snapping photos.
I don't think I will ever stop.
Snap, click, click, snap.
Giggles escape my mouth.
I stand dead still so as to not disrupt the picture's fineness.
It's glorious color.
It's defined edges.
My life, I think.
Young and hopeful as it may be.
This is just another glorious escape in my reality. <3
