The Little Voice

By Christian Armstrong

I used to have a voice that helped me fit in

But it only helped destroy the real me in the end

So yeah i fit in, im one of the guys

But the cooler i get the more the real me crys

Because they dont like me they like a fake reflection

There perseption, what they think is perfection

But i've had a revilation, and i'll be him no more

Thats all in the past an im closing that door

Im me from no one no matter what people say

No more will i potray what you think is okay

Now listen to this message im trying to convay

Look inside an tell that little voice to go away

All he does is confuse you with a fake shadow

Why be cloaked in darknes let your real self glow

Little voice begone im taking a stand

No more will i listen to this voices command
