If Only
If only I had told them,
If only they would listen,
But I let the innocence stay,
So selfish to their eyes glisten.
I should've told them about the world,
But I let them stay young.
I should've told them: danger!
But it's all done.
There is no going back
I cannot turn back time,
For this i regret my choice
I have committed the worst crime.
My daddy told me once you've
Opened the Pandora's box,
Your childhood was over,
So I set it on full lock.
I let the child stay in them,
Trying to correct what I didWhen I was young and didn't listen,
I don't know who's the bigger kid.
