Hey, do I really have to write a summary for this? Doesn't the title explain it all? Okay, okay, fine. To say at the least, the poem is about being lazy. Got it? Okay, good. :)
Oh, and by the way, I wrote this poem in fifth grade.

I Am Lazy

Repetition

I am lazy.

My mom tells me to do my chores

But all I want is to get some rest.

I am lazy.

Why should I wash the dishes

When I can plop down on a couch?

I am lazy.

I hate getting up early and making my bed

And why on Earth would someone invent an iron?

I am lazy.

All I want is a servant to do all my work for me

And maybe a made to bring me cookies.

I am lazy.

I know I have to do my chores but am still resting

While my mom screams and tells me to hurry up.

I am lazy.

I fall asleep and have a nice dream

About me lying on my bed, lazy.

I amlazy.
