Love is Psychology, Not a Make-Magic

My initial purpose was to enter this in the "The Poetry Factor Competition". I actually wrote this as a response to "Barely Breathing" by Christian Taylor, the guy hosting this competition I’m putting this into.I also entered this in the World poetry Movement, since I'm proud of how this particular piece came out.

Evoking lust is a deed… that will be our undoing.

I am truly ashamed as how poorly our leaders

fail to teach us how to “get the girl”

when all they really want is to see is a little affection!

Weather at dawn or dusk, or in a hazel field

or a romantic garden – shrouded in a veil of twilight,

a shard of lightning must be sowed into the heart-

control yourself - tease her; and don't fear rejection.

Why can’t people tell that a man is different from a cliché alpha male?

A man is not ashamed to hold your purse, or be tender,

or to cry in your presence... to share yourdreams isn’t something their above.

Courage is the magic that turns dreams into a reality.

The difference is that confidence implied without fear,

in that case, this poetry will display all my courage, my friend.
