Baby Wake

I can barely hold my eyes open,
when in my ear words are softly spoken.
Mommy please can I have a drink,
and oh also I have to pee I think.
Can you please, oh and take me too,
I think I also have to poo.
Shaking me on my shoulder; please awake,
before it is way to late.
Ok baby lets go now,
so I can hurry and lay back  down.

Very sweet, using quiet tones gives this poem a true feeling of what it's like to be a parent.
