For You My Love

A magical night spent with you,
candle light dinner just for two.

With hands entwined, I look into your eyes,
no secrets withheld, or anything to despise.

A wholesome love we've always shared,
knowing each other will be there.

You lead me to our bed, and lay me down,
then unbuttoning my evening gown.

Under satin sheets your masculinity defined,
the scent of old spice oh so divine.

You trace your finger across my lips,
and the other hand strolls along my hip.

I brush the hair back from your eyes
and you utter a blissful sigh.

I could melt tonight in your embrace,
hoping we'll always be together by God's grace.

I have found serendipity in life, finally after all the years,
and the dulcet tone of your voice forever rings in my ears.
