It is bitter sweet what you do to me
It is so bitter a taste
Constantly it bemuses me
I refuse to believe Ive lost this race
I know you don’t mean it, you are just being you
And it is this that drives me crazy, just being amazing you
Its bitter sweet
Can be so bitter but can be so damn sweet
The smile you put on my face
Makes me feel like living, makes my heart beat
For me no one can take your place
From when i wake in the morning to when i rest at night
On my mind, all the time...stuck on repeat
Its bitter sweet
What will be the end result of all of this?
I honestly couldn’t say
Is it likely my love will be dismissed?
Very likely but not how I would like it to be
It is bitter sweet... what you do to me
Always unwittingly...yet repeatedly
