I’m a new me on a new day
A new bloke with renewed hopes
A new man with a new plan
A new face for a new place
A new guy with a new name
A new player for a new game
A new time for writing new lines
A new beginning for changing minds
I will wait and see what tomorrow brings
Today’s new me may not last
Today’s new me could be farce
Today’s new me could be telling lies
Today’s new me could be wasting space
Tomorrows me could be the just the same
Same situations with the same mistakes
Same experiences with the same heart breaks
Even after all this time
Still no changes can i find
Today’s new me gets left behind
Left behind until the next time
