Today is the Day

he is awaken by his rib
she moans in pain from the pushing
he awakes and asks if all is well
and she responds, yes
he asks if they should rush but she insists all is well
he calls the man to notify of his MIA
she disagrees with his actions
she believes all is well
because the day does not equal the day the med man advised
but she forgot only HE knows the real day
she continues to moan in pain and still insists all is well
until liquid rushes from her.
he rushes her to their place of choice and checks in
after she completes the ten she brings forth their product of agreement
happy together today is a new day for them
new responsibilities, new roles, and new titles.
together they accomplished a biblical law
for today is the day that life has come forth
