Who would'nt lika a fairy-tale life,
So magical and mystical,
Instead of our own life,
So troubled and practical?
A life of gaiety and colour,
Of fancy dresses and balls,
Of sunny country-side scenes,
Of waking up to the robins' calls.
A life of total bliss,
Sitting on soft,hot sand,
With sun streaming down,
And warming your hand.
Listening to the childrens' shouts,
As they splash in clear,blue water,
A life with no concerns,
A life where nothing matters.
A life full of magic and folk-lore,
A life of eternal mystery,
But because of our tragic reality,
A life like this, we'll. never see
