It's been 15 years,
But you're still in my mind,
A Mothers' love,
Again, I'll never find.
I remember my mother,
So happy, full of joy,
But I also remember your pain,
So bad it made you cry.
Through your pain,
You sat me on your knee,
Told me I was special,
Told me how much you loved me.
I've a child of my own now,
And it's really sad to know,
That you've never even seen him,
Will never see him grow.
But he knows you,
You're his "Nanny in the sky!",
He points to your picture,
And I try not to cry.
I love you Mam,
And miss youso much,
I miss hearing your voice,
Most of all, I miss your touch.
