Too many times I let it go,

Too many times I cried,

But now I know it wasn't me,

The blame was on your side.

I took the anger,

And your fury,

This huge burden,

I'll no longer carry.

I was weak against your rage,

Winced as I heard you shout,

I t took a while to realise,

That's not what love is about.

Equal partners, we agreed,

But you took the role of dominator,

Always looked after yourself,

For my needs, you never catered.

So, now I say Goodbye,

You've crossed that narrow line,

You've taken advantage of me,

One too many times.
