Childhood memories of my dad's tales!!

I remember the stories,

I used to be told,

Of fairies and Banshee's,

And the Leprechaun and his gold!

They're only myths,

But the legenda are strong,

These tales have survived,

From Years long gone.

As a child I'd listen,

To stories of the Banshee,

Shivering like a leaf,

Put the fear of God in me!

But I liked the stories of the fairies,

And the little men dressed in green,

I was told I'd have to REALLY believe,

If they were ever to be seen!

Many times I've wished,

To find that pot of Gold,

If the Devil appeared and offered it,

My soul I would have sold!

From bygone years to present day,

These stories have been around,

And I hope in years to come,

These myths can still be found.
