We Fall Apart

Love and death.

Captivated by each other from the very beginning, you were my weakness and I yours
The warning signs of our demise were clear, but it didn't matter, no fear
The hours we spent together and every endless day
we knew our love was poison, but we breathed each other in anyway
Tell me we don't have to say goodbye, even when we die
because with you I'm never afraid, even now as we go to our grave
Let us lie here together face to face, tangled together in a lasting embrace
Hold your hand in mine, one more time
and promise me with your final breath, nothing will keep us apart
not even death
Bury us together, so this can be forever
Throw the dirt, no more hurt
We are both half of one heart
when we're separate
we fall apart
