Love is friendship on fire,

So sweet and gentle and fair.

A friendship with passion and heat,

Can be as easy to pick as a summertime pair.

Love is like a butterfly,

Goes where ever it pleases,

Pleases where ever it goes,

And is able to fly oh so high.

Love is like a stream,

Flowing through a forest.

On a summers dayyou can catch the water in your hands,

And in winter skate with the steam.

Love is like a flower,

It grows stronger and more beautiful with time,

Even if it only starts as a tiny seed,

But someday it will bloom and have so much power.

Love is like a pair of shoes,

Goes where ever it's taken,

And gets comfortable after a while,

But from time to time it might vanish too.

But most importantly, love is friendship on fire.

Burning on a cold night,

Glowing behind your eyes,

And lets hope that fire will never die.
