of things i long to touch...
why is the truth of it...
always far to much...

Of fire, it trembles...
in gentle blaze...
its colors deadly...
i amazed...

contained, it warms...
the heart and hearth...
in my backwards...
scarred to north...

Sweet light twinkles...
innocent...
then bitter bites...
burned intimate...

I use it daily...
as do you...
a captive beast..
through and threw...
