my dog was starving
no food all day
i gave him my hand
with nothing to say
i wanted to feed him
but only one brand
to him i said
im taking a stand
my dog waa thirsty
this same day
i patted his head
the most compassionate way
first do tricks
and then you will drink
nod your head
and agree as i think
my dog was angry
rightfully so
he turned away
i watched him go
to bad my lesson
he had spurned
i guess only a cat
can be learned
