Flowers Fade

Poetry By: Charlax
Poetry

this is a true story
there was a row of flowers
hit by winter
there was one flower
left
then none
one day the flowers gone

I saw the flowers on the roadside,
they were all so pretty to me;
they seemed permanent to me,
But snow will frown--
wind and rain and sun.
The flowers are all gone.
