Just one second I felt whole
The perfect kiss
Sorrow less
The question fell
Like autumn leaves
Myself was aware
No matter what
She was my soul
Understood where I stay
I can hear you no more
Finger tips tingle with recollection
The soft curve of a jaw line
As my tongue once danced behind your lips
Said you would never leave me
So here I stand
Hands full of tulips
A lonesome grave
You were my truth
Pain of the frostbitten words she left me
Only you own this life of mine
You were my light
That led me to the place
Where I found peace
You were the strength
The hope that kept me trusting
Held me in your hands
You stole my heart
Took me deeper
How can I stand here
And say goodbye
I was moved by you
You were all I wanted
All I needed
You were my everything
There was you and me
Now that is over
So I leave you with these
Just soft petals and goodbye
