Sunset Rainbow

From behind the trees
A ray sneaks out.
The purple tones and
Virtuous violet splashes dance
Across the sky
Treating the eyes
To a color
That you'll never
See in a crayon box.
The whirling white stars
Speckle the darkening
Blue sky.
The trees seem to watch
In awe of what they see.
A light breeze
Makes them sway
From side to side
Taking in the full effect.
The pine looks
Like a painter's brush
Onto a canvas
And with each movement
A little more color
Appears, adding to
The beauty of the
Sunset Rainbow.
