Lush spring greenery, leaf upon leaf
Purity thrives.
Budding to become.
Dancing and encircling;
Enticing opportunities
Velvet skin. Petal by petal, almost.
[It begins...]
Now’s the only time. Your only chance
The moment of perfection is also the last;
One breath, one blink, one heartbeat.
[...and ends]
Colours drain, life droops
Chances fold and memories wilt.
Brittle stigma and fragile bones.
Faces fade in silent showers
Weathered and worn
Tired and torn
Float. Fall. Finish
Unknown.
