Poetry By: Charlotte Jayne

A little insight into the relationships of what apear to be close family members. Craving for recognition and in receipt of ignorance.

The nights grow colder and I know i'm getting older.
But the sign of you leaving
still leaves me grieving
Seems when you're here
Your departure's always near.
I'm just biding my time
Until you've made up your mind.
Sometimes when your home
I still feel so alone,
Like your slipping away
And I can't even say.
Your north then your south
And so sour in the mouth.
Then your up, then your down
I need you to stick around.
I don't know why you go,
You're unaware it hurts me so.
But i'm tired of being blamed
For this ridiculous hate game .
I am not your ideal
This drama got too real.
Your objective is flawed
And I am growing bored.
You cripple my admiration
And your wearing out my patience
While I am growing older I can't stop you getting colder.
