Your dry eyes haze and your temperature soars.../ ..

That sharp surge pulses through you.../ ..

Fail to notice that your firsts are clenched... / ..

Ready. Waiting for him... / ..

Palms burn with anxiety... / ..

Your body stings with palpitations... / ..

Heartbeatbaton strikes your drum of a chest... / ..

That macabre sound of war... / ..

Do or die.

Fight or fly... / ..

Those pants of insanity escape your gritted teeth... / ..

You dare him to push you... / ..

You're waiting for him this time... / ..

Go on... / ..Do it... / .. /./. /. /. /. /

Stop-him-at-any-cost.

Lunge like a lioness in defence.

Snarl and growl in defiance.

Stare down your enemy.

Glare while he slinks away.

Like a snake among the grass.

Watch yourself from your seat in disbelief.

Control dismissed

Rationality on hold

It's over... / ..

He's gone... / ..

For now... / ..
