It's here again; the cycle of the seasons reunites us.
The time to renew, the time to repair.
Winter's frost reminds us of last year’s bitterness
And the times that were tinged with cold.
That icy chill of apprehension
Offers a cautious hand on your shoulder.
Those tree's that once were lush
Stand undignified and stark.
Be thankful for your humility
And the roots that keep you grounded.
Then there's the December sun;
Reaching out its rays of hope.
Extending your opportunities.
Proving there are brighter days to come.
