Slipping into seduction;
Oozing with intoxication
Powdered faces mask a lost innocence.
Skirts hitched high while lights are low
Figures flaunted and curves clinched.
Competition is rife behind a friendly facade.
Heels click-click-clatter out the door.
As smiles spread on glistening gloss,
Smooth skin pins pile into a taxi
Where you laugh until your eyes glitter and gleam
And starlets step out onto the streets of sin.
The cold night air is noticed no more.
Hold another by the waist.
As stilettos stagger in this alcohol haze,
We fill the fish-bowl with sweet-scented silhouettes.
Raise a shot glass to your youth.
