If only

As the Earth

Takes one more trip around the sun,

I'm trying hard to believe

That I have stopped Loveing you.

But every time I try

The memories come pouring in.

And I cannot help

But feel the surge of joy it brings

To see your wonderful face again.

If only in my mind.

I have realized

No matter the time we're apart

And no matter the distance,

You will always be with me,

If only in my heart.
