Let the Music Play 2
"Susan's The Same but Different Poetry Challenge"(Mistress of Word Play)
In her a found a friend so true
Amongst them there are very few
Some call her my lover others not
She is real awesome I love her a lot
She sounds quite cripple people say
Is that why you don't bring her out in the day?
She has one arm a belly and hole
Six strings that make a haunting sound
She gives me passion for my soul
My inner being completely whole
My fingers strum her shiny strings
A melody she softly brings
At night with her alone on the seashore
She lets me feel pain no more
I clutch to my chest so tight
And stroke her under stars so bright
No matter what note b#flat or c$ sharp
Her voice is sweeter than any harp
As the moon slowly sets in the west
I know it is time now to let her rest
Another night she has set me free
A true friend she is to me
I love you little Guitar of mine
You make music that's more than divine
