My Heart on a Sheet of Paper

The Neva Land I always knew,
Became a reality the day I met you.
You captured "My Heart!"
Right from the very start.
You told me all rivers to the sea do run,
That in all seasons we will have endless fun.
You changed my night into day,
Then taught me how lovers play.
You showed me even the beauty in weeds,
Soon sorted out all my needs.
You would whisper "I love you Girl!" in the summer breeze,
You were always so easy always to please.
You loved me just as I was,
Together we explored Jupiter and Mars
You gave me back my dignity and filled my very soul,
And made feel completely whole.
You loved to watch me when I danced for you,
And listen tentively when I told stories of new.
You touched me gently,
Your kisses were soft and plenty.
You loved my hair although going grey,
"You are so sexy!" you would say.
You taught me of passion,
Dressed me in the latest fashion.
You always hugged and held me tight,
Under starry skies at night.
You would say I am your queen,
Happier I had never been.
You silenced my fears,
Wiped away my river of tears.
You became the silhouette on my bedroom wall,
Your eyes showed me, compassion, love and all.
You would blow me a kiss across the room,
Another there after followed very soon
You would fill my bath with foam and bubble,
Afterwards you would give me a cuddle.
Your warm and tender touch,
Always meant to me so very much
You would wish with me upon a falling star,
Telling me stories from afar.
You gave me comfort through sickness and pain,
And gave me new hope every time you called my name.
Then one day everything was snatched away,
No more would we dance and play.
No more cuddles hugs and kisses,
No stars more falling to make precious wishes.
Sadness and heartache surrounded us,
Little things became a big fuss.
At night into my pillow I softly cried,
Nothing changed no matter how hard I tried.
Time has come and time has gone,
I so wanted to know what went wrong.
Now here I am miles away from far,
Still wishing upon a falling star.
I no longer hear the sea rush to shore,
And cannot dream alone no more.
No more painting our love on the crest of a wave,
Just sweet memories in our hearts we save.
How long is long that we must wait,
Wont tomorrow be to late?
Sometimes we love enough to know,
That letting loose is the best way to go.
At the edge of the mountain I'll wait just for you,
My love forever strong and true!
As for the memories we made every day,
Here in…. "MY HEART" is where you will always stay!
