There was nothing,
To hold onto,
All that was left,
Were memories of yesterday,
In these stills,
And in my head,
Feeling empty everywhere,
Its so hard to face,
Wishing these pains would die,
Anything to clear my head,
All I ever wanted,
Were you to feel the same,
But you blinded me,
And left me to bleed,
All I ever wanted,
Was you.

Can you throw away,
All the times we've shared,
Before it all disappeared,
In the abyss of yesterday,
The silence you've become,
Slowly kills my soul,
As thoughts of you,
Flash across my closed eyes,
Was my love,
Ever good enough for you?
Or were you fearing what could of been?
All I ever wanted,
Was a chance to start a new chapter,
But seems I can't face the truth,
All I ever wanted,
Was you.

Your so hard to forget,
Reminders I don't need,
I'm not over it,
All I ever wanted,
Was one shot,
One chance,
To see you again,
However, these feelings don't feel the same,
How you let me go,
How can you understand?
How can I?
Really don't know what to do,
All I ever wanted,
Was you.
