Look at me,

Blue eyes saddened,

By the trials of this reality,

Constantly haunting me,

With its cruel curveballs,

And its disaster scenarios,

Darkness seems to hover over me,

Like the clouds in the skies,

When it rains,

Weighing down my heart,

And leaves me crying,

No room for a smile to sneak in,

Constant drama surrounds me,

Always leaving a trail of destruction,

Not a prisoner left standing.

Individuals of faces with no names,

Taunt and intimidate,

With their glares in their eyes,

Tension in the air,

So thick, can feel it,

He said, she said,

Have you heard?

Did you hear?

Whispers follow me everywhere,

Don't know anything about me,

What makes it right?

Ignorant with their words,

Cruel with their rumors,

Lack of care in the world of what the end result is.

Words, rumors, and insults,

Seem to feel like sticks and stones,

Bones don't break,

Bruises are not visible,

But the soul does,

All of its trails take a toll,

Life seems so fleeting,

A glimmer of solace,

Of a whisper of a voice,

In thy head,

Keep thy head up,

Persevere from the pain,

Tables turned,

Look at me now.
