Poem-Sketching Series: "Evening on the Lake"

Poetry By: Christian Taylor
Poetry

A series of short poems that I wrote, where I create poems by using a group of four words that make up the poems. The words can be used/said differently and can be put in a different order in the poems. Second poem in this series: "Evening on the Lake"

"Evening on the Lake"

Cloudy skies leads to clear evenings on the lake
A feathered duck sails across its glass surface waters
Faintly hearing the whispers of crickets singing in the distance
Wishing for an evening where the lake were part of the seas
