Childhood Friendship

Poetry By: Classical Butterfly
Poetry

Its a poem about how we miss our friends dew to some silly misunderstandings and the deep sorrowful ache in our heart we feel when we think of those glorious sparkling days..

The sun rays sweeps my face,
 The yesteryears meet my gaze
 I turn my diary's pages;
 And the memory sways like waves
 To see my friends angelic faces,
 And my eyes wells up with tears.

 The days when we were close,
 Was like the blooms of a rose
 The fragrance was new;
 But now vanished like morning dew.
 The days when we wore pretty frocks and played under the rocks,
 Are etched in my heart and treasured as stock.

 New friends and new faces emerged,
 Like the waves of a river.
 I am puzzled to start
 As we may end up like a dot?
 My heart is heavy
 When I think of the depart.

 Parting is a sweet sorrow,
 Hoping to meet you again tomorrow…
