This is a poem which sadly enough was inspired by a family member....

You are the reason I get up in the morning.

I look forward to that first little sting, first thing.

You make me feel pretty in a weird kind of way

You make me able to get through my day.

I could try and hide you and I have before.

But, now I know it's getting harder because I want more.

I can't hide the fact I'm indulging in you

When my face is pale and I'm trembling too.

I am choosing you over my daughter

And I'm lying to everyone, even my father.

Everyone says you're bad for me

But I can't let you go, can't they see?

I want to be good and put my family first,

They say if I don't I'll end up in a Hurst.

It's hard for me to say no when you look at me like that.

It's hard for me not to crave you, that's a fact.

I don't know how to end it with you,

Should I change my friends, my husband too?

When its all around and everyone's doing it

I can't just sit there and not have a fix.

Meth, crystal, crank, you are the reason I get up in the morning.

I look forward to that first little sting, first thing.

You make me ugly in the worst way.

I want to end it, maybe today is the day.
