I’m giving you my heart,
but just on a loan.
Let’s see what you do with it,
before you call it your own.
I’m trusting you without
reserves or hesitation.
I’m doing all of this blindly
and on my own initiation.
I’ve been hurt before.
Damaged goods, you could say.
But even the warmest person
can turn cold any day.
If you do well with the above mentioned,
I will gladly give you my soul and body.
In return for your patience and love,
You will have eternal security-that’s me!
