A short poem that tells of a man more than happy to meet his demise.

Walking through crowded streets, people stepping to either side allowing me to pass as they chant my name in celebration. Accompanied by two escorts, each one trailing behind me trying to stay in step despite their eagerness. We arrive at the party slightly late, and I am sorry to have delayed my adoring audience. My followers assist me up to the stage were I am immediately shown affection with cheers and stems baring red thrown my way. I'm now center stage, and with a little help my tie for this evening is secured firmly around my neck. The crowed is going wild and I dare let the suspense build any longer. Unmask! I smile as the brown sack is jerked from my head.NowI may see the delight on my fans faces as I prepare to dance the infamous dead man's dance.
