A darkness envisioned a light sanguine,
Rapturous healing and life, sublime…
Awake in myself yet alone in this sphere.
What beckons in silence?
— What beckons but fear.
Glow, glow candles of laughter,
Grow, grow in your frivolous waste,
Go, go to the places you realize,
Glean, glean all that you may.
Injustice served to the one of the sky—
They refused to believe what passed them by.
Candles, they shrink, far off in the distance,
And majestically waltz their slow summer dance.
Come back and think of what you’ve missed,
Dream again for those off the list.
Come, come dawn…
Shed lights euphoric over me and my own.
