For hours I sleep, waiting for something intangible.

Glass shades the world in vivid variants of color—

There are no definites in this reality.

For hours I sleep, waiting for something intangible,

And when I find it, it passes through my mundane hands

Like water.

Sleep, like rain, falls gently down upon my prostrate body,

Covering it with soft, silken dreams that I cannot grasp now

Or ever.

heeeeeeeeyyyyyyy this is a very cool poem. loved the format you used for it too.. short but sweet.. wonderful writing; your tone was somehow aloof and emotional at the same time, if that made any sense lol. loved it =)
