Spinning naked before the mirror

Her critical eyes transform

The reflected vision

Of skin and bone

Like a circus fun house

Absent the fun

Light that fell across her

Body victim

Shot back with mirror lies

Sharpened to a lethal weapon

Fresh from the bath

Dusted with talc

She sees herself as

A marshmallow

Too soft

Too softly rounded

With a martyr's zeal

She vows to consume this

Sugary image

And dissappear
