LOOKING AT MEMORIES
She stands before a mirror,
And glares at the glass
The tears that ran down her face
Show images of the past.
The love that she lost
The scars that she has gained,
Each wrinkle shows the time
It takes to live again.
She raises her slim fingers
To cover her shattered face.
To hide her lonely eyes
Forever staring into space
Once again she hesitates,
With one hand she claps.
And shattered broken images
As her fist goes through the glass
