LOST IN A SHADOW
I am lost in a shadow within !
don't know which way to turn ,
run up the stairs to find myself,
run down the stairs to get away
a shadow a light .
I don't know where to turn ,
which way i go no one can say,
a missing link I am lost
who am I no-one knows.
I am a mother, a father
a doctor and a nurse ,
I am all of the above
wrapped in one.
I dare not scream,
Nor do I dare to cry.
All I can do is
hold it within.
My deepest thoughts
Held deep within,
never to be revealed
Never let go off what I have,
once it is gone, it is forever lost.
A battle goes on, deep within .
I get lost in a shadow
that never does end within.
If you ever feel this way ,don't be
afraid to reach out for that hand.
Open up to someone ,there is help.
A friend too talk to, is close by.
