Life without Death

War

Man

forced to fight

for an empire

with a thirst for death

Take the world

they said

it would be shared

between man and tyrant

they said

Choose not to kill

and the family of man

would be taken as sacrifice

for the wrongful deed

of treason of pacifism

Across the border

man pledges

to protect his land

and family

from the tyrant

and his army

For without his hand

the enemy

would take his life

and freedom

Man must fight

for without a battle

home of man will be lost

Choose not to kill

and the family of man

would be killed

for the mistake

of pacifism

Both man and man

must kill to survive

However one must die

for the other to live

Therefore man must die

for man to live

Tyrant desires power

Man wants peace

In order for power

tyrant must rule

For tyrant to rule

man must kill

In turn for peace

man must kill

Without death

there can be no life

...But what if there could be?
