Snowflakes, shimmering in the light
The most beautiful of things earthly
Shan't linger past a fleeting second
Whence has a silver lining
Fastened itself to a cloud astray
Or a fiery sky, rumbling crimson
Not burn itself to smouldering darkness
A beauty's hair, flowing, will not
Stay golden past a century's turn
Her endearing eyes, beaming brilliance
True as sapphire until the shed of tear
When the sight of her, however majestic
Line with deep wounds of time
And the graceful walk of hers
Become laboured with an era's burden
However mortal the body of hers
However quickly time has passed
She shan't forget a love well cherished
The eternity
Held true, held golden, forever and ever
