Floating around gracefully in the air.
Despite my age, I can't help but run out
My shoes sinking in the drifts
As the flurries catch on my clothing and in my hair.
Cool gusts sting my face
But I laugh;
There are few things that could make me happier now.
I have snow,
I have you by my side,
And when it's time to go,
We can tuck ourselves, warm and cozy,
And a blooming romance
While the roads may leave some dismayed
None of this excitement might have happened
Had we not been delayed.
