Take a second to observe,
Soak in nature's beauty
And you will be amazed
When morning makes its appearance
Glance out your window:
Watch the birds in flight,
Their wings spread out like a blanket,
Soaring across the vast blue sky
When noon has come and gone
Before the day escapes:
Touch and feel the cool crisp air
It whirls round and round unseen,
Brushing across your cheek
When night falls upon the sky
Be still and prepare your ears:
Listen to the pure silence
As you lie in your soft warm bed
The blissful absence of sound
Sweeps across the land
No matter the time of day
Take a second to smile:
Smell the scent of winter ending
Inhale a breath of what is to come
Prepare for spring and all its glory.
