Oh how I love the sound of the rain
Pours down in sheets
Bounces off the roof
Comes down in big drops
Lands with a hollow splash
Trickles off the porch
Splatters on the trees
Flows from the sky
Relaxes my body
Sounds full of splendor
Releases the tension
Replicates beautifully
Calms every nerve
Sounds like a friend
Dissolves all my tears
Washes my face
Embraces me closely
Shows me true peace
Oh how I love the sound of the rain!
